Whether you’re a local, or a visitor to Anchorage, Alaska, Granny B’s Café is a great place to start your day with scrumptious homemade breakfast or an absolutely delicious lunch.
We stopped in breakfast on our recent trek across Alaska. We were not disappointed. Eggs, any way you want, omlets, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, English muffins, toast, and the menu goes on.
It’s very cozy and quaint. It’s comfortable. It’s like your own hometown mom and pop place. You’ll sit down, and you’ll probably want to stay. And the prices are easy on the wallet, too. You’d better bring some cash, because that’s what they like.
If breakfast isn’t your thing, stop in for one of the best turkey melts around. Maybe you’ll want to try one of a variety of their hamburgers, or soup and grilled cheese. There’s also BLTs, Club sandwiches, and much more. From our perspective it was all good.
They have daily specials to keep things interesting for regulars, and first time guests.
The dining room is an eclectic collection of photos, and memorabilia from across several decades and genres. You’ll have a great time just checking out the dining room.
You can visit them on Facebook for more information. Be sure to check out their food pictures. You’ll definitely be amazed.
