Jackie’s Ham and Eggs, located at 297 W Round Grove Rd Lewisville, TX 75067 has been cooking up some of the best breakfast food Texas has ever seen since 1985. It’s a popular destination for pro athletes, celebrities, and travel writers like me all looking for a great meal and great service.
Jackie’s Ham-N-Eggs is a family owned and operated local must-stop eatery serving up breakfast, brunch, and lunch seven days a week.
I stop in and grab an order of their famous biscuits and gravy every time I’m the area. I’ve been known to drive a few hours out the way just to stop at Jackie’s. They are just that scrumptious.
The place is just classic. The atmosphere is friendly. The food is fantastic. The service is great. It’s a great place to start the day or refuel at lunch for the rest of your day’s journey.
According to their website, Jackie’s Ham & Eggs has earned statewide honors and a considerable following, especially among professional athletes, including several Cowboys, Stars, and Mavericks. Photographs on the walls show founder Jackie Shields embracing Mike Modano, Chad Hennings, Daryl Johnston, Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Mark Tuinei. Items left behind by famous visitors include helmets worn by Hall of Fame fullback Larry Csonka and former Cowboys receiver Alexander Wright, who was once considered pro football’s fastest man.
If you want to see some of their fantastic food creations, including pancakes that are literally as big as a hub cap visit them on Facebook or Instagram. Seriously. The pancakes are so big you they give a pizza sized box for leftovers. These pancakes are known as the #BiggestPancakesInDallas.
